The Association of Senior Architects of Catalonia has the following objectives:

I. Reformulate the role of the Architect in society as "the boss who commands the masons," the origin of the word "Architect." The term "architect" comes from the Latin word "architectus," which in turn has its origin in the Greek term "architékt." Thus, the specific composition would be (arxi: being the first, the one who commands) and (Tecton: mason, builder). That is: the boss who commands the masons.

II. Study strategies to keep moving forward, perhaps taking a step back.

III. Prioritize active, consistent, and experienced strategies to bring value to society.

IV. Do little and do it well with a clear head.

V. Organize architecture gatherings to debate contemporary societal issues.
